  1. Peel, slice, and core pears and put in large bowl. Add cranberries, ¼ cup granulated sugar, ½ teaspoon cinnamon, and 2 teaspoons lemon juice in bowl; toss to combine. Allow to rest 20 minutes.
  2. Preheat oven to 350 F. While pear mixture is resting, in a medium bowl, combine remaining 2 tablespoons granulated sugar, brown sugar, almond meal, oats, nutmeg, remaining ¼ teaspoon cinnamon, and salt. Mix thoroughly. Drizzle melted butter over mixture and stir with fork until there are no pockets of dry ingredients left. Mix in pecans.
  3. Pour pears into 8-inch-by-8-inch baking dish. Top evenly with oat topping. Bake until pears are tender, around 45 minutes. Cool 5 minutes on wire rack before serving.
